About The Helicopter Ski Club
One thing is certain: heli-skiing is incredibly thrilling and a hell of a lot of fun. It's the pinnacle of freeride skiing and the most exhilarating way to play in the snow.
The Helicopter Ski Club was formed to connect passionate skiers and snowboarders who love cat- and heli-skiing—and to welcome those intrigued by the idea of mechanized backcountry skiing but (A) unsure where to start or (B) lacking a crew to join.

About Tim
Tim Konrad is the founder of Unofficial Networks, the premier online hub for ski culture since 2006. With over two decades in the industry, he has heli-skied across five continents and explored backcountry terrain in 15 countries, from Antarctica's vast glaciers to Japan's powder-filled woods. As President of the Helicopter Ski Club, Tim embodies the thrill of exploration, mentoring emerging riders and championing sustainable mechanized access to remote peaks. Off the slopes, he savors family life in Brooklyn Heights with his wife and three children—or aboard their boat, bobbing off Block Island looking for fish.
